My brother asked me to start a "light hearted" blog about religion questions that bug people. Readers can pose questions and topics. He suggested topics of: evil, original sin and whether religious people behave better than non-religious people. I presume I am to provide the "light hearted" part.

for your reading pleasure

OK guys, I know I've been gone awhile. I ran through all the stuff I had written and didn't have time to create new stuff. Well, I've been working on another series of ideas but it is going slow since my job seems to be taking up all my time this year.

In the meantime I thought I'd post some books I recommend for the new year. Not to worry, none of these guys are Christians or even religious and their ideas do not derive in any way from or support religious beliefs.

Remember that I've argued for the reality of both soul and spirit that is not connected to religion at all.

So check these out sometime:

"Recovering the Soul: A Scientific and Spiritual Approach" by Larry Dossey

"Care of the Soul : A Guide for Cultivating Depth and Sacredness in Everyday Life" by Thomas Moore

"The Soul's Code: In Search of Character and Calling" By James Hillman

Happy new year wishes and I hope to be able to post a new series sometime during the first part of this year.
